The Beuerhof – An energy spot in the volcanic Eifel
The Beuerhof is located in the Eifel, a place where volcanoes were active 13,000 years ago, between Nürburgring and Blankenheim.
In the era of the Romans this location was a used as a horse-changing station. The Celts celebrated their rituals at this very spot. And in the past 25 years the Lakota Indians have revived the land, able to achieve this by means of their traditions handed down orally from one generation to the next, and through their deep knowledge of the connection between the Spirits, Nature and humans.
Today the Beuerhof continues to serve humanity. Nestled in the natural landscape of the Eifel National Park, the Beuerhof is a taste of ‘home’ for all who visit this place. Located at an altitude of 500m, the visitor looks upon the landscape and breathes deeply. There is something very special in the air here; everyone feels it in their own unique way. Wellbeing, satisfaction, a sigh of relief… as though the place itself has waited all these years to finally greet us here. The surrounding nature and ancient forces unfurl their magic.
The Beuerhof, with its approx. 12 hectares, Tipi Village, seminar rooms and smaller units, offers an abundance of possibilities for the creation and realisation of gatherings.
Since 1967, Dieter Scholz has been leading this gem, and as its guardian has ensured that people will continue to be able to come here to discover and develop the potential lying in wait within them. The connection with nature, the animals, the human being and the intrinsic forces all contribute to bring clarity over what our original self actually means.
Mitakuye Oyassin – All my relatives – as the Lakota Indians would say now. And yes, the exact meaning of these two words is what can be experienced by anyone who comes to the Beuerhof. We are all one!
